It's great but often gets very crowded with UCI students around peak lunch times and in the late evenings. If you aren't a big boba fan, I recommend going to Monster (another tea place in UTC) because they have teas for the same price but larger portions. If you don't like tea but love boba, this is the place for you. My three favorite non-tea drinks are the Dark Caramel Milk (with boba), Strawberry Cooler, and the Mango cooler
I work nearby and had been looking for a go-to bubble tea cafe. I’ve now been a customer here since 2018. Cha For Tea has tasty beverages and always gets my order correct. I love that I can customize my bubble tea order, even down to the type of ice. Great drinks, fair prices, and fast and friendly customer service have earned this shop my repeated business!
The tea was really good and the two non milk teas were refreshing and had a good flavor. The Roasted Brown Sugar boba milk Latte was tasty but super sweet. So if you like your drink not super super sweet ask for 0-1 sweetness. The Thai Milk Tea was good and tasted like any other Thai Milk Tea. The boba was delicious and was some of the best boba I have had in a while. The flavor was awesome and the boba was chewy and warm!
Line looks long but goes super fast. The service is quick and they pay attention to detail. Free parking and good healthy places to eat. Definitely get the honey green milk tea, I would drive an hr for it.
Always packed. Some of the best boba on the planet. Chicken is ok. Seating is small. Worth the wait for the drinks!
Aesthetic and clean place! It's in a great location with a lot of out door seating. Everyone was extremely friendly. The menu had a lot of great items as well! If you're sensitive to sweets, I would recommend you to put in half or a quarter of the syrup they use for their teas ! The syrup is quite strong but the experience and prices were great!

This boba place is located in University Center. They make fresh hourly here. There a small area for indoor seating and they also sell Taiwanese appetizers to munch on. I like to get their roasted brown sugar boba milk latte which is quite delicious. Very sweet in flavor that you can customize sweetness as well. Good and friendly staff. One less star for lack of space while waiting to order out drinks.
If you were a UCI student then you know Cha was the ultimate boba spot. They have done quite a bit of a remodel that I barely recognized it! Still just as busy, there will always be a line out the door. Luckily you can now order online for pickup. I ordered my usual almond black milk tea and it tasted just like I remembered!
food + drink : i'm OBSESSED w the popcorn chicken here for some reason i say get the combo bc it's worth it ALSO almond milk tea !! no other place makes it this good ALSO still somewhat cheap what ??? service : if you're lucky and don't have to wait.. the service is not bad at all ! honestly u don't wait too long ambiance : they have a few tables inside which is nice ^_^ i don't particularly like the structure of the line because it always wraps around outside, so it makes it feel tight :/ i say sit outside, fresh air
